Why Patricia Creedon?
It’s not everyday that a successful business person decides to invest the enormous amount of time and money required to run for political office. Residents of the 21st Representative District now have the opportunity to benefit from the expertise that Pat Creedon gained from years of owning and operating an electrical contracting firm.
She stands ready and able to transfer these valuable skills from the private sector to state government.
Who better to represent your interests than an energetic, talented business woman who took leadership roles in the male dominated construction industry?
“As a resident of the 21st district since 1980, I understand the issues that matter most to my neighbors and fellow business owners.” Creedon said. “I started my business and raised my children here while actively participating in local politics. I look forward to making constituent relations a top priority by listening to my neighbors and taking their concerns to Dover.”
Here are some comments from her peers:
“Pat’s leadership skills, which she developed while building Creedon Controls from the ground up, will transfer into the kind of leadership Delaware needs in a State Representative,” said House Minority Leader Robert F. Gilligan (D – Sherwood Park). “She has worked with multi-million dollar budgets, negotiated contracts, and established working relationships with folks up and down our state. Pat is the clear choice to fill this empty seat.”
“Much of my district overlaps with the 21st district, and from talking with Pat, I know she has a good grasp on the issues here,” said State Senator Karen E. Peterson (D – Stanton). “Her involvement with the Governor’s Council on Apprenticeship and Training and the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board give her a working knowledge of how state government works. I look forward to working with Pat as she seeks a seat in the General Assembly this November.”
